They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. But, how come so many people skip out on it? Is it because they don’t have time in the morning to make a breakfast? Or, is it because they’re not hungry in the morning? No matter the case, this Mixed Berry Smoothie Bowl will put an end to all those questions. Plus, it will make for a good Instagram photo, too!

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. But, how come so many people skip out on it? Is it because they don’t have time in the morning to make a breakfast? Or, is it because they’re not hungry in the morning?

No matter the case, this Mixed Berry Smoothie Bowl will put an end to all those questions. Plus, it will make for a good Instagram photo, too!

You’ll need:
1 Frozen Banana
2 cups of frozen mixed berries
1 date (pitted)
1 cup of unsweetened almond milk 

Topping Suggestions:
Shredded coconut
Dried strawberries
Honey
Chia seeds
Blueberries
Granola
Sliced Bananas
Pineapple
Peaches
Kiwi

Bite

How:
1. Pour the coconut milk into the bottom of the blender jar. Then add the frozen berries, banana, and the rest of the ingredients on top. Securely place lid on the jar and blend until no chunks remain. You may need to stop and stir it around if it’s too thick.

2. Pour smoothie into a bowl and top with your desired toppings. Enjoy!

What I love about smoothie bowls is that you can completely customize them to your liking. It’s your morning, YOU do YOU!
