5 Top Places in Stroudsburg to Spice Up Your Nightlife

Stroudsburg Nightlife

Known to be the suburbs of the Poconos, Stroudsburg, PA sure has come quite a long way in the last few decades. From the college kids of East Stroudsburg University (ESU) to middle aged adults looking for a good time (keep it clean), a Friday night in Stroudsburg doesn’t have to be dull.

Check out our top 5 popular places the Main Street nightlife has to offer!

1. Renegade Winery

Whenever I go to the Renegade Winery, I notice the diversity of all age groups. Everyone enjoys wine, especially if you’re looking to have a chill evening with friends. At Renegade, there are flavors that you cannot find anywhere else. Whether if you prefer a sweet white or a dry red, the options seem endless! Check out their Blueberry fruit wine…my favorite!

2. Garlic Prime Steak & Seafood

There’s no other local place that provides an elegant dining experience quite like Garlic. Opening from 4 p.m. to midnight on the weekends, this place is perfect for an elegant dinner away from the kids for a night. You can eat in their dining area or sit at the open bar with full service to feel like you’re in N.Y.C. without even leaving Stroudsburg. My personal favorite? Enjoy the nice spring and summer air with their patio dining. Start off with a creamy Sweet Crab appetizer before experiencing a mouth watering New York Strip Steak.

3. Marita’s Cantina

Known to be a Mexican restaurant by day and sports bar by night, Marita’s Cantina is perfect for a night out after hours. Starting from 10:00 p.m., they offer dollar drinks until midnight. Hands down the most affordable and eventful place to grab a few drinks after dark. I mean, who doesn’t like drinking on a budget?

4. Flood’s Bar

With live music and a wide selection of domestic and imported beer, Flood’s is a laid back environment for all to enjoy. Unlike other bars, Flood’s has places where you can sit down to relax as you have a drink and some food. But, make sure to arrive early! It gets packed pretty quick.

5. Sherman Theater

Re-opening in 2004, the Sherman Theater is known to be a not-for-profit community theater. With events including Sean Kingston, David Archuleta, Train, Queen (cover-up band), and more, this place continues to thrive as the hottest place to see a good show in town.

Certainly, Stroudsburg has many more places and events that help make weekend nightlife entertaining. Experience the nightlife yourself on Main Street in Stroudsburg this weekend!
