Friends of Beltzville State Park and Keep PA Beautiful invite you to join a roadside clean-up as part of the Great American Clean-up. It all goes down this weekend on March 28th. Meet at the park office at 5pm, it is FREE for all who would like to lend a hand!
2019 Interboro Pub Tour for a Cure
6TH ANNUAL PUB TOUR of the best Pubs in Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg, to raise awareness and funds for a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. No set starting place. Visit as many or as few of our sponsors as you like, and stay for whatever amount of time you like. Participants need to purchase our event shirt or hoodie, which will also get them a unique wristband from each pub visited during the event. The pub tour goes down this weekend on March 30th!

Spring Re-Awakens Art Exhibition
“Spring re-awakens” at The Art Factory of White Mills on Saturday, April 13 from 1-4pm. Come see the special, multi-artist display: “Sunflowers,” featuring all things sunflowers – paintings, photography and sculptures! Artists will be on hand to do free demos in photography, acrylic painting, wet-on-wet painting, alcohol ink, printmaking cards and wire wrapping. Light refreshments will be served.
Waterfall Photo Bike Tour
Pocono Biking’s Waterfall Photo Bike Tour allows you to experience the Lehigh Gorge Rail-Trail by bike and foot. You will bike for 25 miles and along the way embark on various side walks/hikes discovering waterfalls, scenic vistas, canal ruins, and seldom-visited natural wonders. Keep your cameras ready because in addition to beautiful scenery, you’ll see some wildlife! This specialty trip will last about seven hours from check in. Rate includes Trek bike rental, bike helmet, shuttle service, water, and a professionally guided ride. Don’t forget lunch and your camera! First outing is scheduled for April 13.
Bridge the Gap: Bike the McDade
PEEC presents this free bike ride along the McDade Trail! All equipment and transportation is provided free of charge. Please bring a water bottle and wear sturdy footwear. Extra water and snacks will be available. Meet at PEEC. Funding for this program is provided by the William Penn Foundation. Call for details. The first excursion is set for April 14.

Bike ‘N’ Brew 2019
Join Edge of the Woods Outfitters for their 9th Annual Bike-N-Brew on April 27th! A community bike celebration and fundraiser. This years’ event will be a loop ride from the ShawneeCraft Brewery, out the Joseph McDade Trail and back on River Road, which will be closed to traffic for the event. After the ride, enjoy some well-deserved craft brews, food and music at the river front outdoor pavilion at the Shawnee Inn. There will be raffle drawings for some great prizes and all raffle ticket sales will be donated to Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC). All abilities are welcome for this moderate ride. The total distance is 16-miles, but there are several places where you can turn back sooner if you prefer.
